Scratched glasses are not just bad looking, but also can distort your sight and affect your eyes. This is why opticians recommend cleaning them regularly, no matter if we talk about eyeglasses, sunglasses or goggles. Today I will show you two excellent ways to clean your lenses but also to remove glass scratches. All you need are two very common products.
1. Remove glass scratches with baking soda
The sodium bicarbonate (or the baking soda as it’s known) is used by backers to prepare the dough. It can be found in any supermarket in the spices section. Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with 50 ml of water until you get a paste. Apply it to the glasses and rub it on their surface without lint, in a circular move. At the end rinse the lenses well with cold water.
2. Remove glass scratches with toothpaste
Simple toothpaste is an excellent product for cleaning traces of dirt, but also for fixing fine scratches. Apply a small amount of undiluted toothpaste on each lens, then rub the paste onto the surface of the lens with a cotton swab using circular motions. Finally, rinse the lenses well with cold water.
You will not believe how effective these two tricks are. Make sure you see well, to be seen well. Let me know how this two tips worked for you. Thanks!
