Facebook just launched a cool new feature for personal profiles. From now on you can set a video as your profile picture. It is less likely you’ll be able to add a 2 hours movie. It is more like an animated image. But still, very cool. You can express so much in just a few seconds if you have a good imagination. The method is pretty simple and straight forward. All you need to do is to follow the same steps as when you want to set a normal image as your profile picture. Just click on the camera button on the profile picture. A menu will appear with options to record or upload a video. Make your choice and upload. Why doesn’t it work for me?
From the tests I’ve made, these options are only available on the mobile app. So if you try to do this using the desktop Facebook website you will not be able to. Also, this feature is in the test phase and might no be just yet available in your country or region. Patience, it’s coming.
